Happy Ashland County Fair week! I know that this is a busy time for a lot of families. I hope everyone enjoys their day off this Friday and can spend some time at the fair!
There is no spelling this week, but there will be a few homework assignments to review language standards that we have covered thus far. Please check the agenda for homework assignments and sign up for Remind to receive free text messages regarding homework assignments and classroom events.
This week we will be learning about context clues as we learn new vocabulary words from our class novel Charlotte's Web. We will also be visualizing and reviewing summary. We will take a closer look at characters and character traits as well.
In science we are finishing our lab tools and safety unit (quiz Tuesday)and will be experimenting using the steps of the scientific method. We will conduct the famous "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop" experiment as we learn about each step of the scientific method.
A few reminders:
Have a radiant week!
